Blue Dog Armory

Blue Dog Armory was founded in 2019 by Kevin.  He had the idea that the firearms industry could have a better option to get the customers what they were looking for at a fair price, and come with knowledge and understanding of the products standing there in front of the customer.  He wanted the company to have certain qualities, such as loyalty, confidence, truthfulness, and awareness.  All of these were qualities his Blue Heeler named Westley had.  He nicknamed Westley "Blue Dog" so when it was time to name the company he picked Blue Dog.   

Blue Dog and its staff stand behind the products that we carry in our store, and that we have at the gun shows.  Everything we carry one of us has personally used, currently use, or had experience with.  We don't want to sell you something at the show that we are just pushing on you.  We want you to be comfortable with your choice, understand it, and be ready to take it home.

Kevin, President

Kevin grew up in Colorado, spending most of his childhood in the south Denver Metro area, as well as in Granby Colorado where he had family.  He was raised around firearms, and from a young age learned all the safety that goes along with them and how to shoot multiple different types of firearms.  He has worked in Veterinary Medicine for most of his adult life while learning about firearms as a hobby.  In 2019 he made the decision to start the business.  He loves learning about new firearms, new technology, upgrades and enhancements made.

Richard, Vice President

Richard grew up in the south Denver metro area. He enjoys time in the mountains, four wheeling and fishing on the lake, any lake! He loves to go to the range and was raised around firearms from a young age. Was taught to respect firearms and to treat them as “loaded” always. Safety is the #1 rule.  He enjoys talking with customers about firearms and sharing the knowledge he has gained from personal experience and research. He works in Hardscape construction during the weekdays and weekends are dedicated to Blue Dog.

Ben, Vice President

Ben was born in North Dakota but grew up in Highlands Ranch , Colorado. As a child he got into Paintball and Airsoft, and learned about gun safety during that process. That passion turned to firearms as he grew older. Currently he's learning more about the changes and up made by various manufacturers to stay competitive in the market.

Amelia, Manager

Amelia grew up in Colorado with her Mom and three siblings. She enjoys any time she can get in the mountains, tagging along with “the boys” on any and all adventures, loves to cook, and has a passion for crafting. Since meeting her husband in 2011, she has become more familiar with firearms as well as educated herself on the safety and respect that goes with them. She continues to learn and grow in her knowledge base relating to all firearms, the laws in place, and the technology behind it all

Logan, Manager

Logan was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and lived there during his childhood.  He moved to Colorado in 2005 and in Centennial and Kiowa.  He has shot firearms living in Kiowa, but was really introduced to them in 2022 and has grown his knowledge while working with Blue Dog Armory and its growth.  He really enjoys shooting the Marlin 1895.
